Faculty Technical Director

From August 2021 to the present I have worked as the Faculty Technical Director at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. The UNL Theatre Department partners with the Nebraska Repertory Theatre to produce their shows. In this position I have taught both Graduate and Undergraduate students in a dedicated Technical Direction Program. As part of their education, my students have had opportunities to fill the role of production technical directors for specific productions with me acting as their Mentor. I have overseen their work throughout the production process and have helped oversee the work in the scene shop while allowing them to gain hands-on experience. Each mentored student will be credited for their work on the individual show page along with the other members of the production team for each show.

 

I have also functioned within the department as the coordinating Technical Director and have filled this role for selected productions as well as production schedule allows. The shows below are a selected group of productions from my time working at UNL.
